[Akita / Kosaka Town] Performances and facility tours at the Meiji playhouse “Korakukan” + facility tour of the Kosaka Mine Office

2-theater common ticket [Korakukan + Kosaka Mine Office] This is a great value ticket that includes a theater performance at Korakukan, a national important cultural property, a backstage tour, and a tour of the Kosaka Mine Office, two facilities. The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still actively performing live performances (popular theater and other) for over 100 years. The first half of 2024 will feature a boys' review show by "Jun Kanzaki & 10carats" from late April to early June, and "Yumeiro Theater Company" from mid-June to late July. This theater company was formed just for the Korakukan performances, and it's interesting that the performers change every year. The second half, from August 3rd to October 27th, will feature popular theater by the Shitamachi Kabuki Group. The performances will be performed by Hiroshi Hitomi (Hanagata Subaru Toma) → Kaito Shingetsu → Toru Mimine (Hanagata Takahashi Shigeki) in rotation for about one month each. The play is enjoyable for all ages, so it has been visited by many customers, including elementary school to high school students on school trips. Please enjoy a performance at the Korakukan, a playhouse that is still in operation after a century. Kosaka Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that prospered due to the Kosaka Mine. In 1910, the Meiji-era playhouse "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the Kosaka Mine employees. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the interior is purely Japanese-style. The most distinctive feature of this playhouse is its rare blend of Japanese and Western styles. The tour of the Korakukan facility will be guided by staff dressed in black costumes. Enjoy a revelation behind the scenes of this truly living playhouse! Kosaka Town in Akita Prefecture is a town that prospered due to the mining.
