The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still actively performing live performances (popular theater and other) for over 100 years. The first half of 2024 will feature a boys' review show by "Jun Kanzaki & 10carats" from late April to early June, and "Yumeiro Theater Company" from mid-June to late July. This theater company was formed just for the Korakukan performances, and it's interesting that the performers change every year. The second half, from August 3rd to October 27th, will feature popular theater by the Shitamachi Kabuki Group. The performances will be performed by Hiroshi Hitomi (Hanagata Subaru Toma) → Kaito Shingetsu → Toru Mimine (Hanagata Takahashi Shigeki) in rotation for about one month each.
