- Plunging 60 m (196 ft), Nanataki Falls is listed as one of Japan's "100 Famous Waterfalls". A shrine and waterwheel sit at the base of the falls where visistors can enjoy the view.

- At 6.6 m in circumfrence, the Kobusugi cedar is a giant of the forest. The surrounding area is home to around 700 trees more than 250 years old.
